Heyo, so myself and some of the other London Legion members thought it would be great idea to get some online L5R events going. So this is an event, planned for this weekend starting at 10am GMT (UK time), to be played over Jigoku since we are all (including myself) probably in quarantine somewhere. So maybe what you want is some form of L5R event, that you can play at home.

We will coordinate this event through a discord server set up for it, You Must Join the Discord Group to Participate! https://discord.gg/2A8e7N6. Where round timings etc will be posted. You can also use voice comms for your game if you want, channels will be available.

This event will be self-sign up, and self-reporting, please can set your name on the discord server to match your name on the LP listing for easy contact. Pack 1 will be legal, but please avoid unstable cards. Also you should not change your decks between rounds but this will not be checked. This is a community initiative so please place your faith in the community to participate with a legal deck and not change decks between rounds, especially in the top cut.

There will be a prize, donated by myself, depending on signup to the winner and the last place entrant that has not dropped. If this is a popular event I will see about more prizes at another event in a few weeks. At the moment this is very much a 'I love L5R' rather than a 'I want the swag thing', I'm not FFG OP, I'm just a fan.

This event will run with a number of rounds based on participation. Probably 4-6. With a top cut that can be played the next day.

There will be two timers for the round, a 75 minute timer for the overall round, and 40 minute chess clocks. You will have 75 minutes to play from when I post the round starts in this channel. When there is 15 minutes left in the round (or 10 minutes left on the combined chess clocks) I will post in the chat and everyone can begin to follow FFGs standard tie breaker rules. In addition, unfortunately, if someone is disconnected from a game and cannot rejoin the game, that player will be given a loss. If Jigoku crashes during a round we will restart that round, if we get two crashes during the tournament we will probably postpone the tournament (we can only do so much after all).

Passwords are only needed to make sure the right people join so please set it as 1234 so I can join if needed. Also please put LLO and the name of your opponent in the title. Makes it easier to see if games have ended on time.

I expect most judging to be handled by Jigoku not allowing misplays/takebacks, please avoid manualling actions where possible, especially without the permission of your opponent. If judge calls are needed please @Steelfur#4075 on Jigoku.
