After the success of our first event, London Legion are running another online tournament for the global L5R community (you may need coffee if you're based in America).

The event will start on Saturday the 4th April, at 10am GMT (UK time), for Swiss, and have a top cut (based on player numbers) from 3pm Sunday Afternoon. There will be a second Day 1 running in the US on Saturday, which will combine into the late starting Day 2 for a joint event. The tournament will be played over Jigoku since we are all (including myself) probably in quarantine somewhere. So maybe what you want is some form of L5R event, that you can play at home.

We will coordinate this event through a discord server set up for it, You Must Join the Discord Group to Participate! https://discord.gg/2A8e7N6. Where round timings etc will be posted. You can also use voice comms for your game if you want, channels will be available.

This event will be self-sign up, and self-reporting, please can set your name on the discord server to match your name on the LP listing for easy contact. Pack 2 and the April RL will be in effect, this means you will have to manual two effects. If you are unsure the best way to do that please let us know. Also you should not change your decks between rounds but this will not be checked. If you make day 2, lists will be visible so anyone in the cut should have their decklist ready to share with the streamer/judge and their opponent. This is a community initiative so please place your faith in the community to participate with a legal deck and not change decks between rounds.

This event will run with a number of rounds based on participation. Probably 4-6. With a top cut that can be played the next day.

There will be two timers for the round, 70 minute overall timer for when the next round starts and 33 minute chess clocks. If your chess clock runs out you lose the game.

In addition, unfortunately, if someone is disconnected from a game and cannot rejoin the game, that player will be given a loss. If Jigoku crashes during a round we will restart that round, if we get two crashes during the tournament we will probably postpone the tournament (we can only do so much after all).

Passwords are only needed to make sure the right people join so please set it as 1234 so I can join if needed. Also please put LLO and the name of your opponent in the title. Makes it easier to see if games have ended on time.

I expect most judging to be handled by Jigoku not allowing misplays/takebacks, please avoid manualling actions where possible but you can ask your opponent to fix things if you are both comfortable with it. They do not need to say yes, if judge calls are needed ping me in the channel in discord.
