GvC - L5R 2020 -Show your support

With a great curse plunging the world of Rokugan and beyond into chaos and disorder, the Empire has being working with skilled shugenja to allow all Clans to unite and come together during this dark time.

With the Elements unbalanced, the Empire has decreed that they are not to be called upon at this time.

So yes, L5R is returning to Gaming Vs Cancer this year, however will be an online event run using Jigoku. There will be an open Discord group to allow chats and the event will be run though Lotus Pavilion.

Now, most events at GvC have a twist to how they’re played! Last year we ran without one, but this year we are joining the shenanigans. During this event you will have to use a “Support of the…” role card.

The rules for this event will be as follows:

You will be required to register on Lotus Pavilion by Saturday 5th of December (GMT) - 11am via this link:

Round timings will be posted on the LLO Discord Server so please make sure you are part of the server. You can join via this link (https://discord.gg/2YzUgC). Voice comms will be available on the server but is not required. For clarity purposes, please edit your name on Discord to include your Lotus Pavilion name.

All games passwords will be 123 and will be marked with GvC in the game room name.

Deck lists will be required for those who make the top cut, however these can be posted in dedicated chat room once the cut is announced by 12:30 6th December.

As we aren’t using a physical space, anyone can enter and this event will be absolutely free! However as GvC is for a great cause, please feel free to donate what you can here:

Prizing

Prizing will be announced between now and the event.

With this being an online event, all winners will need to cover shipping at cost or the prizes they win. Or they can be kept until an event comes up that I can pass them on to you at a later date.

As with last year, everyone will receive 1 raffle ticket per round played and 1 ticket per win. Anyone can purchase more during the run up to, and over the event.

Top of Clan will all get a prize, along with the overall winner and those who make the cut, stay tuned for more details.

If you wish to donate anything to the prize pool, please let me know, and we can arrange this. As many will remember, last year we had an amazing amount and range of prizing and would love to be able to recreate this again this year.

Timing (All in GMT)

Any rounds not needed by number of players will be cut from the end of the schedule. There will be a Top 16 Cut maximum, however less if required by attendance. This will be announced on the briefing and in the Discord chat at the start of the event.
